This is my senior exhibition project. I chose to create an Alice in Wonderland themed dinner theater. I wanted to create an environment that made the audience feel as though they were actually in Lewis Carroll's classic story. I played with scale to help involve the audience in the story. All of the silverware and place settings were mismatched. I also used layering in the design of the place setting that the audience discovered new things as they went through the meal. The furniture was custom made to incorporate aspects of the story as well. The table was a large clock that was permanently stuck at tea time, and the chairs had icons that matched with the characters from the story.
