Attache

The role of ending human-centered solutions for humanitarian crises can often be overlooked. We need the world to come to the realisation that the current state of the refugee crisis is a human problem. A global, human problem that needs solutions focused on the end-users – ie. refugees and persons of concern- so we can gather their voices and improve their quality of life.

I designed a waterproof pouch which you could wear over or under your clothes to keep your valuables safe. It was apparent that most of a refugees belongings were ruined whilst on the journey being flung in and out of boats in order to secure a safer life for their families. Being in a strange location and not knowing the language can be pretty daunting which is why I have designed this bag to keep safe their essentials but also provide vital information like a map and emergency numbers in a discreet way.
