The P22 Cocktail Book
This book is #10 in a series of specimen chapbooks that feature P22 Type Foundry fonts. As a type specimen book, this edition is not quite what most people would expect to see, however 100% of the graphic elements, illustrations, and borders are from fonts offered by P22. The main text font family is the P22 Stickley Pro family with a range of weights and pro-feature numbers and fractions that are perfectly suited for a recipe book. Each spread is annotated with a mini colophon of sorts identifying the typefaces, ornaments, and borders used.
The similarity of this booklet to the famous Savoy Cocktail Book is more than a little coincidental. What started as a book on the P22 Art Deco era fonts, became what you now see: a typographic homage to the cocktail. The recipes contained within are offered up by several cohorts and collaborators of P22 in the typographic world. Many are original concoctions while several are contemporary versions of classic cocktails, and still others provide entertaining mixology. All in all, a fine selection of the exotic and the delicious. We hope you enjoy the book and the fonts!

Because we can never do anything in a simple way here at P22, we have letterpress-printed several limited edition color-ways of the cover by hand. Besides the standard Chromolux Metallic Gold edition, there are the Curious Cosmic Pulsar Red, Curious Skin Absinthe, and Chromolux Metallic Silver. Pick your favorite color or collect them all!
