MetLife rebranding with localization process in Korea



MetLife is a global provider of life insurance, annuities, employee benefits, and asset management. One of the largest in the world, MetLife said goodbye to Snoopy. Snoopy has led the image of MetLife for 30 years. Now it is time to abandon ambiguity and provide a simple, focused, and higher performing for the customer. MetLife seeks to become a trusted partner by delivering new customer experiences through the new identity, the new tagline, and the new design system. 
Prophet – based in New York designed the new brand strategy and identity, And Brandsmith was asked to improve the local brand design and marketing collaterals from MetLife in Korea. We reviewed and suggested Korean typefaces that follow the completed design system. We have designed a new standard for expanding marketing materials in Korea. We improved more than 100 items to the proposed design. These results were provided as brand guidelines to share with MetLife employees in Korea.
