Hello everyone, since I was a child I've always been fascinated by the cosmos and I love to admire its beauty. So I decided to create something that had to do with the universe theme. Here I show a little of my creative process, and in whom I inspired myself. Hope you like it! ˆ_ˆ
I had some things in mind, one of them was an astronaut on the top of a mountain looking at the horizon, it was where I found the beautiful photo of Alberto Restifo in the Unsplash, which inspired me and gave me a starting point, I needed a pose who was looking at the horizon so I took a picture of my beautiful daughter Nataly in the position I needed to have reference, I decided that the planet Saturn would be in the background.
Moving on to paper
That done I went to the paper and drew as I had imagined, at this moment I decided that I would use a more loose and fun route. I also added a drone to give a more cheerful air, which in my opinion was very cool.
Choice of colors
I decided to use the complementary color combinations, this combination scheme works great when you want colors to create a life-effect, energy and especially when you want to achieve maximum saturation.
Reading tip
I'm reading a fantastic book that is called Steal Like an Artist Daily, Thank You Austin Kleon! It was where my mind opened, because I carried a very heavy judgment, where I imagined that everything I created had to be from scratch, but the great truth is that every day we are inspired by everything around us and we are constantly evolving.
