Death Valley is a land of extremes. It's home to the lowest elevation in North America dipping as low as 282 ft below sea level. Along with that come some of the hottest temperatures on the planet with a recored setting 134 °F. With the valley surrounded by mountains you can go from triple digit tepmeratures to below freezing in the winter.
