This project on letterform compositions helps students to better learn the anatomy of typography and practice applying the principles of design by creating interesting designs using nothing more than letters and numbers in the Helvetica and Garamond fonts.  After completing this project I feel really excited to get into this typography class.  I feel like I have learned some of the nuances of drawing letterforms, and I have come to receive a greater appreciation for the art of typography as well as its place in the Graphic Design major.
