This American Life Podcast Storyboarding
The goal of this project is to create a television promo storyboard. Our chosen podcast was #598 My Undesirable Talent.
From the podcast, I discovered the theme of multiple identities that both protagonist were struggling with. I represented this concept through a mirror maze and silhouettes. For one story, the person tried to fit in and created an identity that wasn’t his, and it was guilt-filled. The other story’s protagonist has a split identity that no one knows of and was spiraling deeper each time through an unstable lifestyle. Just like their identities, we never know if the silhouettes are a reflection or the real them.
This is a school project for Sequential Design 1 with Elaine Alderette.
