This is a contest entry for 99 designs, Cartoony illustration of Dungeons and Dragons group.

it starts with understanding the brief and drawing sketches from it.

The clients wanted 5 characters: A skeleton bar who plays the Lute, A rouge, a monk, a strong dwarf, and a dark elf with a hand missing. These are the actual characters they use in their game of Dungeons and Dragons. He wanted the characters to be on a fun cartoony picture. So i did a some what Adventure time/ Gravity falls style illustration of the group having a good time in the woods.
