"Born for This" ballet poster design
Task: create an eye popping key visual for poster, tickets, 2 sided postcards, t-shirt and souvenir pins for "Born for This" spring ballet show marketing campaign.
"Born for this" is a story ballet based on the biblical story of Esther. South Carolina Christian Dance Theatre (SCCDT) do an original spring ballet each year.
The main idea is to show a girl posed as if she is about to walk through a very large important doorway. The door is open slightly with lots of light pouring through the opening. This should represent Esther about to go before the King.
Theatrical scenery for the ballet is a woodland setting so the poster should hint at the concept of animals, and woodland creatures.

The essential idea is to show the Spirit of Christmas - majesty, splendor, beauty, "God with us", is the feeling of what Client was expecting for this visual concept.
