SMU / METHOD CREATIVE RECRUITMENT CAMPAIGN
In 2009 the Temerlin Advertising Institute at SMU launched a new grad program that focuses on social responsibility within an industry that has a less than stellar reputation when in comes to ethics. After assessing the first round of applicants it became clear to the faculty that a more targeted message was needed to increase the number of applications coming in from aspiring creative-types that specifically highlighted the award-winning creative program -- Method. This campaign addresses the program's unique commitment to social responsibility while underscoring the idea that creative success and ethical integrity shouldn't be thought of as mutually exclusive terms when it comes to advertising.

Now more than ever, advertising must do what’s right. The world is too small, too connected, too informed and too jaded. Consumers (humans, actually) won’t settle for less. The new generation of creative professionals believes it’s okay to succeed, but not at any cost. New leaders recognize their responsibility to their brands, their industry and their society. They want to show the world a different view of what advertising is – and what it can be.
