We wanted to create a logotype in which the text would be the most distinguished part. The institute's (National Institute of Music and Dance) name was long enough to consider making the text the main player. Thanks to this a small details becomes highly visible – the dynamic st ligature starts suggesting melodic movement.
The ornamental elements consist of lines and dots that casually link to a staff and give rhythm to all of the pieces. Besides that we have organic blots that escape grids and rules. All of the elements make for an abstract interpretation of dance and music – and make the language of the id flexible.
The logotype can be placed on its own or with a selection of ornaments.
For the competitions purposes with decided to make a bunch of additional gadgets that would show the flexibility and consistency of this visual language.
...because who doesn't love gadgets! Thanks for watching and see you around. :)
