"when grandpa wasn’t grandpa" is an author’s book I created for my Bachelor’s Degree in 2018. Using unconventional and non-obvious solutions, it tells the story of my grandfather’s youth, as well as being
a universal story about life. The book not only evokes existential re- flections, but also entertains and intrigues.

In December 2018 „when grandpa wasn’t grandpa” was choosen out of 1766 another picture books from
around the world and got a Merit Award in the Little Hakka 2018 International Picture Book Award competition, organised in China.
