Google Code Next

Code Next is a Google collaboration with MIT Media Lab aimed at empowering BIPOC students, grades 8–12, to become the future generation of computer scientists and technological innovators. I designed all 2D and 3D environmental graphics for Google's West coast Code Next site, a 1500 sqft classroom and lab located in the Fruitvale area of Oakland that serves as a learning and fabrication space for students. I worked closely with the Code Next team at Google and local students to design an environmental experience that caters to learning and reinforces the values of the program. The system of graphics represents a journey through the past, present, and future of computer science, and a window graphic inspired by the Oakland oak tree.
