ABSENTIA TITLE SEQUENCE

This was a personal project designing title sequence for the Amazon Prime series "Absentia". I really enjoyed watching the series and I thought it would be cool to design some title sequence frames. Some of the great title sequences that were my inspiration were the Netflix DareDevil, HBO West World, and the 007 Skyfall sequences. I really enjoyed the mood and the atmosphere that they set before the episode or the movie would even start.

All the scenes were completed in 3Ds Max, rendered with VRay, and finished in Adobe After Effects and Premier Pro.
The final Title clip was created by following Ignace Aleya's tutorial, How to Create Realistic Water in After Effects - TUTORIAL, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DYe4hwmz6c
The following are some WIP (work in progress) screen shots from 3Ds Max Scenes. This was a great learning experience, as got to put everything I learned about modeling to the test, as well as the experience with putting the actual scenes and cuts together.

Prior to getting inside 3Ds Max and starting to laying out blocks for pre-visualization I mind-mapped the ideas and then did some rough sketches to see how everything might look together, which I learned from Sava Zivkovic’s posts with the short films and the Behind-the-Scenes shots on Behance, specifically the Bounty Hunt and the IFCC 2017 Main Titles. A lot of the workflow was right from the Learn Squared course by Ash Thorp, Main Title Design. The whole course was excellently designed as it was very easy to understand and follow. Thank you Ash Thorp and the Learn Squared crew! https://www.learnsquared.com/courses/main-title
