STARTUP WEBSITE PROPOSAL | UX/UI DESIGN

A proposal for a website aimed at people who want to take advantage of short-term
insurance - for example a laptop or jewelry.

The project was used during the Hackathon in Stuttgart, Germany - June 2018, organized by the German company SV SparkassenVersicherung. The tools used are Adobe Photoshop - photos, Sketch - models, InVision - clickable prototype.

I. PROJECT GUIDELINES
The site is to perform a sales function. Inform users about the products available, and then tell in a way about the services they provide to make them buy insurance. Hence, a form was required to specify the date to include insurance and all other data necessary to carry out the valuation.

II. USER PROFILE

The product, directed to the German market, was addressed to holders of valuable objects / devices. It gives the option of insuring, for example, jewelry or a bicycle. The target group are modern, responsible, thoughtful people both about their future and the present. For the most part, these are users who already have large insurance purchased - such as home and car insurance, and would like to expand their package with small items - such as a watch or glasses.

III. RESEARCH / DATA COLLECTION / CONCEPT BUILDING

The fact that the client already operates on the German insurance market is very helpful, he is the industry leader and has extensive databases that enable the preparation of a tailor-made product. He perfectly knows both his recipients and their needs as well as competition - which was a great source of verified information during the implementation of this project.
IV. PROTOTYPE AND FIRST TESTS WITH USERS

The most important element at this stage was to determine the functionality. What data should be included in the form, how the insurance types should be grouped, how they should be displayed. How to attract the attention of the modern target group, and at the same time inspire confidence in it and make the purchase transaction. The tests came with the help - as a result, the site has been simplified to a clear and clear level.

V. DESIGN / PROTOTYPE DEVELOPMENT / FURTHER TESTS

Design had a delicate reference to the main page of the company - hence the similarity of the fonts, but at the same time signaling that it is something new and fresh. Also, the selection of photos is to pre-define the target group and pay attention to its needs.
VI. FINAL PRODUCT / MONITORING / FEEDBACK / FURTHER DEVELOPMENT

The project is in the final phase of implementation - at the programming stage. For sure it will also be supplemented with detailed text materials - prepared by experts, address data, additional functionalities. The works will be continued in the direction outlined in the above steps.
