The following project shows the development of a package concept for a cell phone (iphone) product package. 

The concept started with hand sketches. The sketches below developed based on packaging thoughts regarding package material, shape, texture, etc, with the size of the product in consideration. Once a package structure design was selected, more technical aspects of the package were considered, including the package's size and configuration.

Sketch mockups of the package were created to begin consideration of the placement for the graphics. 

The package structure was further refined and laid out in Sketchup Pro. The dimensions were checked in 3D xray view.

Based on the template of the final package structure, the graphics were developed for the product and laid out in Adobe Illustrator.

The following mastercase and pallet configuration for the above package was developed in TOPS Pro. The mastercases would allow the packaged product to be nested and shipped in a secure formation.
