Lewis Aptekar, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist, longtime academic and retired Professor of Counseling Education who spent years working with San José State University’s Connie L. Lurie College of Education. He frequently visited, taught and lectured around the world, and conducted extensive research on topics such as homeless youth and disadvantaged populations on multiple occasions. Dr. Lewis Aptekar’s dedication to the field earned him awards and recognitions on multiple occasions.
