// Project //
The original illustrations were printouts in PDFs and to be reproduced digitally for an iPad children's app by redoing the linework and repainting, and preparing the layers for the animations. Most of the original illustrations didn't match up with the dimensions for the app, so added onto the illustrations up to a 1/2in around the sides to fit the dimensions proportionately to 1024 x 768. The client also wanted to make additional illustrations, games, and other assets to add onto the Cars story for the app. The pages are noted below. To make this relative and interactive for kids, some of the games are similar to popular kids' games and having most of the animations interactive by the user touching images on the screen. Other app elements like pop-up text boxes, soundFX, and voice audio for the story were to be added later by the developer, but project was discontinued.
