La-on and the dragon: drawing from fiction to pulp

"Over the land and over the seas,
There was a small kingdom in the East..."

Welcome to my thesis project for my final year in college/university

THIS compilation of illustrations made of Old Newspapers, using the story of  "La-on and the seven-headed dragon" by Gabby Lee and Marcy Dans Lee, a story that retells the legend of Mt. Kanlaon, the tallest volcano in the Visayan Region, as the theme of the illustrations. I used a cartoon style instead of my usual style so as to give the rough-by-nature texture appearance made by the material a clean finish.

Hope you enjoy! And hit me up in the comments below for any questions on the material and such.
