BACKGROUND
Tattumundo is a home-grown brand that specializes in creating designer temporary tattoos made possible by their collaborations with a variety of illustrators and graphic designers from the Philippines.
THE CHALLENGE
How can you represent Philippine icons and symbols into unique wearable tattoo design?
I chose recognizable icons and illustrated them with geometric shapes, patterns and motifs influenced by Philippine culture.
A lot of typographic elements were also incorporated into the sheet, as well as strong colors of red and blue.
