"Ellas" is the name of an exhibition of paintings dedicated to Honduran women. It is not just a tribute to the women who have been social or cultural icons in this country, but it specifically honours the women we meet every day in our life and without whom the world would stop turning: mothers, workers, peasants, the neighbours, the vendors, as well as the next generation of Hondureñas. Those women are the ones who are the true pillars of society, and therefore deserve the respect and attention they do not always get.
