The concept of the project was to play with the viewer's perception of the materials used and to surprise them. 

The pieces of the collection are made of sponge with a layer of concrete on top. With the cover and the natural pores of the sponge, the pieces seem real concrete. This encourages the audience to think that the pieces are heavy when, in fact, they are really light. 

I also played with the idea of squeezing, considering that concrete is a material you cannot deforme. I used sponge to squeeze it and leaving the track of the forces applied.
