Asus Modular Retail Island

ASUS MODULAR RETAIL ISLAND
From concept to application
The island is composed of 3 in-line modules. Each is illuminated differently to help separate visually 3 product line-ups.
What you see in this top section are the concept renders. At different viewing angles, as one walks around the island, shapes and angles characteristic of the Asus logo are formed and revealed as a result of the graphical interplay between illuminated and shadowed surfaces and the distinct angles at which they meet.
PRODUCTION MODEL RENDERS

Based on the above concept, a production company engineered the modules for manufacturing. I rendered the models they provided. It's normal to have a few differences between the concept and the engineered solution as you may notice. Overall, however, the two were strikingly close.
REAL WORLD APPLICATION

The modules were delivered pre-assembled and then wired and set-up in a matter of several hours.
