In December 2012, I was fortunate enough to visit Hong Kong and Japan. I was born and raised in Hong Kong, but it has been over 12 years since my family has had the oppurtunity to fly back together since we immigrated to the States in July of 2000. My time overseas was documented through photographing street objects/groups of objects that interested me as a temporary citizen. Up until I returned home to New York on the 15th of January this year, these photographs served only to be my vacation photos. Today, the objects that fascinated me in those photographs have been extracted and recomposed. They are here being introduced through Streetview Gallery, an interactive website designed to frame the objects as sculptures.
