Three's a party

This semester, a design competition was held in our class. The challenge was to find a name and a design for a new wine cocktail that will be launched in Germany this March.

As the cocktail consists of three ingredients, we decided to name it “Drittel” – German for “one third” – and the idea of „dividing by three“ became our concept.

The label was made out of three strips, going all the way around the bottle.

Three equally important sides were bearing all the relevant information – the name, the logo, and the ingredients.

Instead of a classic descriptive text we created - so called "drittel-moments." These are moments who are good, and then get even better - so you have to celebrate them with a drittel.
For example moment #45: your neighbour locked himself out  and has to sleep at your place to night. He's underwear model. That calls for a third.
