The Red Planet Project is a Sci-Fi horror game concept in the spirit of The Martian Chronicles (1950) and Alien (1979). 

On the distant planet of Mars NASA has lost contact with its' Orion Mission astronauts following an obscure distress call. In response NASA and the American military have sent in a team of highly trained Marines to investigate. Upon arrival, the science and mining facility located on the planet surface, seems to have become suddenly inactive and even more disturbing the Marines have uncovered evidence that the scientists and miners stationed at the Orion Complex may not have been alone. In fact, the Marines are becoming suspicious that they may not be alone.
