Disquiet: Part 1 of Speculative Design

This is a speculative zine that explores the climate of 2034. Some of these scenarios are exaggerated, and all of them fall under varied sections such as politics, culture, economics, medicine, etcetera. This zine was then used as context to inform a series of speculative spatial design projects to be set in 2034. This zine was compiled using articles written by 17 exhibition design students from the National Institute of Design, India - the batch of 2013.

After working on the zine, my colleague Salil Parekh and I decided to work together, more specifically on the art in 2034. This document serves as a sort of manifesto for the art movement of 2034 – Holoplagiaristic Fatalism, and also explains the process we followed to translate this theory into space. To view the full document go to Holoplagiaristic Fatalism
