My 5 years experience in classical art school

Education in art school gave me basic drawing skills, such as:

Skill of composition is the creation of a picture even before the creation, where the color and the design are drawn in a more organic picture, reflecting on the details and the final result. I learned to create kinds of composition and understand where they are applied.

Sculpture gave me the feeling and create a material three-dimensional volume and shape of my works, I learned how to create a circular (freely placed space), and relief sculpture (in which volumetric images are located on a plane)

Graphic arts gave me the ability to draw from reality using perspective, light and shadows, also I learned the skill of hatching. This lesson was the most important thing that taught me to draw competently. I practice drawing with a pencil so far.

Painting taught me how to draw with watercolor, pastel and oil expressive strokes and paint what I see: the volume of the object, the depth, how the object is affected by other colors.

The history of art gave me an idea of how art developed, how art epitomized every era and how it affected religion and culture.

Since for 5 years of study there were too many works,in different subjects, but I would like to provide only a graphic, because it was this topic that developed me the most
that can show my main drawing experience and what I can:
In art school I practiced drawing from nature every part of the body, faces and forms of objects in A2:
Firstly, we with a plaster statue painted every part of a person’s face with high quality and detail. Then, we painted the face completely in proportions and shadows, so we learned to draw portraits.

Interestingly, although each student painted the same statue, it turned out to be a completely different face in the drawings. We always painted with nature, and every picture was completely similar to reality, but thanks to the individual style of shading and our vision of light and shadow, each of us got a different picture:

Just as we learned to paint portraits, we also painted still life: at first each part in detail and separately on a large sheet of A2 we painted the draperia until the light-shadow, shape and volume of the fabric. We were taught to draw with a black&white pencil so that viewer understood material of the fabric, transparency was visible, so that the viewer had an idea of where the light was coming from and an approximate shade of the color of the fabric.
I worked in the studio on this work for 22 hours, not taking into account the rework, training, and respite, but the result was worthy and I'm very glad that I spent so much time, this work greatly increased my skill in drawing:
We have redrawn large drawings from scratch many times to bring the drawing skills to perfection to get a more satisfied result:
My favorite work:
The picture is born three times: sketch, drawing and when you look at the end result
Elements of the drawing, creating the illusion of three-dimensionality: light, shadow, penumbra, glare, reflection.
Graphics teaches you to draw in the framework of the classical approach to constructing apicture, which excludes the possibility of errors due to the calculation of the proportions of the composition. Thanks to the graphics and practice of classical drawing, I realized that the drawing is first of all a mathematical calculation of the proportions and thinking over the composition, and then directly drawing.
Practicing the simplest items, the easiest pencil can create worthy illustrations.

All the drawings in this page are drawn by me and represent the author's academic drawind (2010-2015 year)

                                                        Thank you for watching
