Turtle love Mood board and Style Guide

Finalized Mood Board
This is the finalized mood board for the Turtle Love charity concert event. I designed the style guide and the web comp using the mood board as a reference. I had a lot of fun designing this mood board. The colors are bright ant remind me of the tropical islands. I used photo shop to mesh the whole thing together. I created the background from a picture of the ocean and a picture of bubbles. The whole idea was for this even to feel lively, and magical to mimic the intensity of dance music.
First attempt on creating the style guide. I was very unsure of how I wanted to present the style guide the first two attempts.
Second Attempt at style guide.
These are the first two style guides that I created in week 3 and I realized that I had the format all wrong. a one page style guide resembled a mood board more than a style guide. With peer direction I was able to figure out that a style guide would look better in a booklet form.

In July's class Design Integration I have continued to make iterations to the existing Turtle Love design. In the first two weeks of the class I began iterations on the mood board. The mood board that I created in the first week did not have a strong enough logo so I redesigned the logo and then redesigned the mood board which is pictured. From the professor critique that I received I realized that the logo still needed more iteration. So I removed the entire turtle from the design and added more details to the turntable which is pictured in the style guide.

After the mood board was completed I moved on to the style guide in the last two weeks. The first two style guides that I completed were not strong enough and from the critique I received, I realized they were not strong style guide designs. But on the second try I received a style guide example from Veronica that really helped me to move past just one page style guide designs. I realized that making a style guide into a booklet looked more industry professional. I still feel like this style guide can be iterated more, so I will most likely add some changes to make it more professional.
