This collection of product, food and still life photography is part of Tom Clark's most recent exploration of color as the subject. In the past he constructed images mainly with shape, form, and composition in mind. However, in this project those elements were considered only after the color scheme was decided. The hope was to create images that jump off the screen, while maintaining a bit of awkward tension.
