I always dreamed of designing my own wedding. So when the time came, I told my partner
that I would like to design everything by myself including the invitations.
After discussing with him, I created this design.
A playful style with a touch of illustration to bring the beach and tropical vibe which is our wedding theme.
The burgundy and dusty pink became the main color scheme as I love these colors so much.
For our wedding we use e-invitation to reduce the paper and plastic usage. I created a set of wedding invitation consist with an invitation, event program, map, dresscode guide, and wedding gift direction.
The illustration is a strong symbol representing who we are.
Through our true colors, we visualised our differences in a beautiful way. Never forgetting to flaunt our traditional tenun worn during our traditional proposal ceremony with a unique pattern coming from my homeland of Flores, Indonesia.
This is the most special project for me.
It's not only because I'm happy with the result, the important thing is there are stories and feeling behind every graphics that you see on this design.
