Ryanair' breakfast club

a Picture-Perfect breakfast.
For a schoolproject I was asked to create a picture opportunity for a brand or service in order to activate/boost the social reach of the subject. I chose Ryanair. They have a younger target audience who are considered social (media) butterflies, yet Ryanair' services are barely communicated by them through online channels.
Let's show these wanderers Ryanair flies them to various cities all over Europe multiple times a day.

I thought of a selfie opportunity with part of a typical German breakfast. A (fake) three meter wide pretzel to sit on, lay down in or pretend to take a bite from. Take the most original, creative -or just the best- picture
and win a trip to Berlin to have a real pretzel for breakfast. With Ryanair it is possible to do just that and return back to Brussels.

As a manual for the picture contest I transformed an airplane safety card into a step-by-step chart
to show the participants the full process. Just so people keep calm and know what to do
when coming across a giant pretzel.
Ryanair would be able to extend this idea by using different events or local activities such as 'P@arty in Berghain' or even different cities and their core values we love, but not just travel for.
Next to this delicious selfie I also made a guide to show travellers, the winners, bloggers, etc. where to have their breakfast while they are on their way to Berlin. Divided in categories such as Authentic Breakfast, Healthy Breakfast or Hipster Breakfast. Every category shows a few hotspots or unknown local gems and a short review.

This project was made in a school context.  No correlation with Ryanair or any other brand for that matter.
Also no terrazzo tiles or hipsters were harmed during the making of this guide.
