As a small kid we all had terrifying dreams that stick with us through the years. During my time at the school of arts in Rotterdam I took the chance to visualize this series of dreams from way back. 

They all had a pattern where I was searching for something or someone while running through corridors and hallways. During these dreams the ambiance builds up to a panicking mood where at the end I find my own room as a kid including my skylight window. In this room I had a choice. Stay still and confront my fears or continue and keep on running where everything was a loop.

The style shows a dreamy ambiance where some objects and details are extremely accentuated in comparison with the rooms or areas. It turned out to be a small booklet where you as a viewer dig deeper and deeper inside the dream till the point you snap out and escape. The materials used are mostly crayons, brushes and water.
