Mailer Design for National Geographic
A school assignment, we were to design an Electronic Direct Mailer.
We were to show our copywriting skills and photoshop skills as well as apply our HTML knowledge from prior lessons.
Creative Brief.
Background:
National Geographic, formerly the National Geographic Magazine, is the official magazine of the National Geographic Society. It has been published continuously since its first issue in 1888, nine months after the Society itself was founded. It primarily contains articles about science, geography, history, and world culture. The magazine is known for its thick square-bound glossy format with a yellow rectangular border and its extensive use of dramatic photographs. The National Geographic Society is a global non-profit organization committed to exploring and protecting our planet. We fund hundreds of research and conservation projects around the world each year and inspire new generations through our education initiatives and resources.
Objective: Purchase of the symphony of our world tickets
Target Audience: Active intelligent and curious readers who hunger to experience the world first-hand.
Proposition: Listen to Nature’s Story
Substantiation: No has heard Nature’s story as it is not someone to relay the story. Rather, it is from purchasing and attending the show that the audience then, has the experience and knowledge of what Nature is all about and it’s story. Since the audience are curious minded, they would want to know what is Nature’s Story.

Adventurous and serious.
