Coffee House Press is a publishing company found in Minneapolis, MN, that specializes in poetry. This company started off as a poetry magazine and letterpress, but then grew into one of the premier non-profit literary publishers in the nation. Their original logo didn't seem to connect to what this company did, so I took the liberty to re-brand their entire identity. I chose a feather to abstractly stand for poetry and the circle of the logo to stand for a typewriter key, referring back to their history as a letterpress. In addition, the placing of the feather in the corners of the business card and stationary gives the illusion of a turning page of a book.
