AnzioBiowaste is a project that aims to create a plant to produce biomethane (renewable fuel that can be used to produce power, heat and in transports) and compost (organic fertilizer for agricultural application alternative to chemical fertilizers) in the in Anzio, Roma.
The recovery of matter in the form of biomethane and compost turns waste into resource – a new input for the production cycle – thus closing the circle of circular economy.
