Ecología Metalúrgica
"Recycling is culture" is the code used by “Ecología Metalúrgica”, a proudly Mexican company based in Torreón, Coahuila, which recycles various metals through classification and smelting processes.
The center of the logo is a representation of the "In Lak'ech" a Mayan love principle that means "I am another you", it is a symbol of tolerance, respect and unity, of evolutionary consciousness.
It is illustrated a gear from which come two circular arrows in movement, representing the metal and the recycling of it, since it is the main activity of the company.
Finally, all these elements are unified by abstractions of the Mayan calendar, with the aim of reflecting a Mexican essence.
The visual communication of this company was created with the purpose of highlighting its Mexican identity through Mayan and Aztec iconography abstractions, as well as elements of metallurgy.
