This is the winter 2018 edition of The Bridge, Messiah College's alumni magazine. The Bridge is a quarterly magazine sent to alumni, donors and friends of the college. The size is 9 x 10.5 in. and printed on uncoated Rolland FSC paper. It is also available to be viewed as an online magazine below.
This issue won a 2018 UCDA (University and College Designers Association) award of excellence. We won one of the 198 Awards of Excellence out of 1,060 entries. I designed the cover through page 19. Our senior graphic designer, Cindy Agoncillo, designed page 20 through the end of the book.
The 48th annual UCDA Design Competition recognizes the best of the exceptional design work done to promote educational institutions (secondary, vocational, or higher education) and supports the exchange of ideas and information relating to the unique role of these designers.
The cover of this issue was also included in Lane Press's summer 2018 issue of Pages Magazine in their Cool Covers section.
