- Spring -

The Still River that rises in New York west of Danbury, through which it flows and then (unusually) heads north to join the Housatonic River in New Milford.  To the right is a former mill dating from 1780 that is now the main building of the Brookfield Craft Center.  (2013)

The Field of Flags, the Congregational Church of Brookfield.  (2010)
Cove Road, Barkwood Falls, 31 October 2010.  The "Hallowe'en Storm" dropped 30 cm of snow onto trees still bearing leaves.  The result was one to two weeks without power - hence also water - for many residents and the breaking of many thousands of tree crowns.
The "High School Bridge", so-called because it is used by the students as their billboard.  12/14/12 was the date of the mass shooting of twenty children and six teachers at the Elementary School in nearby Sandy Hook.  (2013)
The Hop Brook in Barkwood Falls.  On 15 May 2018 tornados and macro-bursts devastated towns across norther Fairfield and southern Litchfield counties.  Some thousands of trees were brought down and hundreds of homes damaged or destroyed. (2018)
