A lot of South Africans haven't tried online shopping, it's just not something they do. Takealot.com, South Africa's largest e-tailer, wanted to show them that it's easy.

Every family has their gofer, fetcher, and designated family minion. The kid whose job it is fetch the remote, answer the door, and run to the shops. Sibusiso is that child. But he's ready to show his parents that there's an easier way to get things done. 
We introduced Sibusiso and his family in a series of ads that began in September 2017 and ran through to Christmas. Following the main ad, we created a series of shorts that showed his parents learning how to use Takealot.com.
Next up it was time to bust some myths around online shopping.
And finally, we celebrated the joy of giving over the festive season, where we met Sibusiso’s gogo (grandmother) and her carer, Cynthia.
