Earth's Seasons: Procedural Rhetoric

Earth's Seasons: Procedural Rhetoric

"What causes the seasons?" This interactive tool built for middle schoolers allows users to move Earth around the Sun, see what parts of Earth receive the Sun's most direct rays, and apply this to understand how Earth's axis causes the changing seasons. The goal of this project was to utilize Ian Bogost's concept of procedural rhetoric and apply event based programming techniques and conditional logic to delightfully communicate this topic.

Final deliverable built in Framer.
