This project was a collaboration with visual artist, Kris Abrigo, known for his geometric style and large-scale murals. The client for this project was Davies Paints Philippines.

The brief was to design an exhibition booth for Worldbex 2018, a building and construction expo. However, the design had to be flexible enough that they could grow and shrink the booth for use in other expos throughout the year.

We came up with different modules that we arranged over a 36 sqm platform. The modules’ forms were designed to resemble houses, with two walls on opposite sides and through openings. We played with the roof designs to make them more in line with Kris’ style.

Each interior corresponds to a color scheme that Davies created, and features a room-like vignette with furniture and accessories sourced from Habitat Manila and Sixinch Philippines. The construction was done by Red Dot Design Inc. The exteriors were then painted by Kris, essentially becoming a 3d large-scale mural.

This project was awarded with the Best Booth in the small booth category at Worldbex 2018.
