此期刊物作为「da大 in print」的首刊，通过10组对北京、东京、首尔的一些日常物品和街景的转换形式 ── 在视觉上诠释了我们对城市背景的「再理解」。与此同时，我们也运用文字语言形式探讨了在深层解读与梳理周边的情景关系后，所产生的「个人秩序」。我们希望通过这样一种实践，建立起一个关于人们如何去观察城市背景所产生的文化的讨论。在此之上，与读者一同摸索这些带有当地人群和地域所独有的特质的文化，是如何一点一滴地影响到我们当代生活中的固态物质与元素，以及我们又能够如何通过对它们的解读而进行更深入的感知。
整本刊物包含30页内页 + 一张尺寸为A2的海报作为书的封皮。刊物属胶版印刷，含荧光油墨+2种专色+双黑工艺，纸张为Gruppo Cordenons。整本刊物的纸张未经过装订，呈松散状态，并可做为独立单元进行阅读体验——读者可以通过裁剪，撕切，或者其他方式对刊物进行重新自定义。每一组内页可以在中间的连接处由阅览者自行进行裁剪，裁剪后可被应用为独立海报，亦可被折叠、或转换为新的用途。通常一本书被剪裁或拆分，那么书籍便损坏掉了，然而读者对这本刊物的任何处理方式并不是在损坏它——读者对待它的方式变为刊物体验的一部分，因为刊物本身就在表现着人们不同的理解方式和秩序。

The first issue of da大 in print, reuse eventually [unit s1] attempts to demonstrate alternative perceptions of urban context visually via 10 original compositions.Each composition is based on an object, series of objects, or street scene collected from Beijing, Tokyo, and Seoul. These elements were specifically highlighted as they are all examples of local city culture influencing seemingly mundane pieces of the modern world. Over the past few years we’ve been documenting elements which any modern city anywhere on Earth might have, butseem to be somehow influenced by the local culture, or rather, in an increasingly globalized world even in tiny details rich culture could be easily seen in a modern context if you knew what to look for.

The issue includes 30 interior pages + an A2 poster which acts as its cover, and was offset printed in three spot colours + black on Gruppo Cordenons paper. Every copy is unbound, and completely modular. This allows for you to cut, rip, and modify the issue as you see fit. Each composition page for example can be cut out and used as a poster, or folded and transformed into something completely new. For convenience each issue has also been packaged in a resealable PVC bag for easy storage, and they’re all hand packed by us. The cover, which folds out into a poster, can easily be reused as such independent from the rest of the issue, as there is an interior cover for added protection/identification.
