BAN SERVEWARE SET / 2015
A six piece serveware set designed for Isan Thai (Northeastern region of Thailand) cuisine and was developed around a restaurant concept. A menu that best represents an authentic Isan Thai meal was chosen for the serveware set. The pieces of the set are designed to serve rice, soup, grilled chicken (gai yang), salad (som tam) and sauce. A motif of lines was inspired by the grill marks on the grilled chicken dish and was used throughout the serveware set.
All of the pieces are to be made in ceramic with the exception of the wood piece for the grilled chicken serving plate.
