The pelvic organ prolapse quantification (POP-Q) exam is used to quantify, describe, and stage pelvic support. POP-Q for Boston Scientific is an iPad app for gynecologists which illustrates the stages of female pelvic organ prolapse at a level of completeness not reached by any other system to date. Using an interactive representation of female pelvic anatomy, a specialist may calculate a sample POP-Q exam score by physically moving the anatomy on the screen.
This app features a registration system built with a MySQL database and PHP code which shuttles XML documents into an XML HTTP request manager written in Objective-C.
