Brazilian Delights

I was invited by Greco Design agency to do these handmade engraving illustrations for the project "Embaré Brazilian Delights".
Tupi-Guarani was the most spoken indigenous language in Brazil back in the 16th Century. Embaré is a Tupi-Guarani word and means “potbelly”, a silk-cotton tree found in most of the 26 Brazilian states, whose bark was used by the Indians to make canoes.
The origin of the Embaré name inspired the study that resulted in the “Embaré Brazilian Delights”.
Based in some of the Brazilian Indigenous legends, the “Embaré Brazilian Delights” line is presented in six flavors – Açaí, Cupuaçú, Graviola, Mango, Papaya, and Pitanga.
