Interior Artworks
For this project I teamed up with super talented interior designer Astrid Pankrath. We created a totally new experience for the visitors of the Ampelmann headquarters in Berlin by giving the entrance hall a redesign.
The brand built itself around the little figures in the pedestrian traffic light. These are known all over the world as a Berlin symbol.
CONCEPT

The entrance hall is a very important part in the office. From post man to business partner everyone entering should get a first impression that sticks. We had to reflect the companys creative design approach and show the strong relation to Berlins history which serves as the brands USP.
COLLAGE

The Berlin tv tower (Fernsehturm) stands metaphorically for the city and the hand reveals that the Ampelmann figure is “inside”.

MURAL

From the fall of the Berlin wall to the first Ampelmann product and Berlin nowadays. The mural shows the brands history and some funny stuff which defines the super weird charm of the German capital.
The wall serves as a form of entertainment for the ones who are waiting for their appointments and it shows the brand USP in a subtile and funny way.
I conceptualized the content, drew the doodle by hand, merged every detail in photoshop and brought the final artwork to the wall.
