Bio-ethanol fireplace

Bio-ethanol fireplace, made from fire proof concrete cast into a hollow 3D print mold.

When using wax-base 3d mold undercut shapes can be made by melting the mold after the cast.

The shapes are increasing the surface area to get more efficient heating while maintaining the same wall thickness to prevent isolation.

Using 3D printed mold allowing constant design change without the commitment to a expensive mold.

The Bio-ethanol burner doesn't emit odors and toxic gas makes the fireplace perfect to place inside the home.
Inner offset shape to keep the same wall thickness.
Fireproof concrete mixed with stone grit to maintain the heat.

The project is my final project in industrial design at HIT, israel,. Under the guidance of designer Yosi Ben Arush.
