I'm not sure when exactly I started enjoying so much Halloween. May be I always did but only now I realized it. A major role played the fact that we celebrate it during the autumn, my favorite season which is magical to me. Those dry yellow/orange/reddish leaves, the fresh air, the cold wind, the mystical fog and the marvelous smell of burned wood which comes out from the other people's houses makes me fell cozy and special.
Autumn is not sad at all, it cheers us up with its bright colors, and makes us remember "Winter is coming".
Halloween is the culmination of the season. It's the most waited and looked forward day. We do so many preparations simply because it is worth it. One day in a year you will feel as if placed in the center of a fairy tale. One day you can be whoever you want. In this day, the standards "ugly/beautiful" disappear. There is only "wonderfully weird".
I love Halloween because it makes us feel the moment and enjoy it.
